Who we are
Wild Harbor is a small hotel on the Tromsø shore. In this notice, "we", "us" and "the house" mean Wild Harbor as the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can write to us at [email protected].
What we collect, and why
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiries and to run this website. When you send us an enquiry through the form on our home page, you give us your name, your email address, the dates you are considering, the size of your party and any note you choose to add. The lawful basis for handling this data is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and, once we begin corresponding about a stay, the performance of a pre-contractual request at your instigation (Article 6(1)(b)).
We keep an essential cookie so that our age confirmation and your cookie preference are remembered on your device. If you accept optional analytics we may also record aggregated, non-identifying statistics about which pages are read; you can refuse this at any time from our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a stay are deleted from our inbox within twelve months. Correspondence connected with a stay is kept for the period our accountant requires under Norwegian law, then deleted.
Who sees it
Only the two of us who run the house, and the mail provider that carries our correspondence. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
Under GDPR Articles 13 to 22 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it at all. Please write to [email protected] and we will answer within one calendar month. If you feel we have handled your data poorly, you have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the review date above and, for material changes, place a short note on the home page for a fortnight.
